Im Jaclyn and want to be a future journalist and write for a teen magazine! I love talking and asking questions! My main goal, with this interview page, is to introduce new actresses, actors, singers and artists that people have not heard of. Along the way, if I get an amazing opportunity to interview someone that many know about; I hope my readers learn something new about that artist. There is so much talent out there in the world; I think it is time that people are introduced to new artists. A main goal when I send questions to the artist; I like to think up informative questions and fun questions that make it fun for both the artist and their fans. I hope you like the interviews so far! INTERVIEW #9: ERIN SULLIVAN (Singer/Broadway)

Erin is an amazing and sweet girl who I met on MySpace through the amazing Hairspray cast! Erin did an amazing job as “Amber Von Tussle” on the Hairspray Tour! One of my favorite characters from the play! She just recently finished peroforming on touch with the National tour of Hairpspray, and is now auditioning for some new roles!

Q #1: At what age did you start singing? 
Erin's Answer: "I was about 6..I didn’t start taking lessons though till was about 9."
Q #2: Who are your inspirations?
Erin's Answer: "Anyone who fights to get what they want."
Q #3: What was your first official show you performed in?
Erin's Answer: “My very first show, professional, was called “How to Eat like a Child”; a really funny show. I think I was about 7 or 8.”
Q #4: What is it like being on Broadway and traveling?
Erin’s Answer: “LOL. Well I haven’t been on Broadway yet, soon I hope. As for the traveling, it’s fun. Seeing different cities, playing in different theatres keeps the show interesting!”
Q #5: What was it like being part of the Hairspray Tour? 
Erin’s Answer: “A dream come true. Working with our creative team was such an honor, and Hairspray is such a brilliant musical. Everything about it: From the script, to the music, to the wigs. I had such an amazing cast, and to get to play “Amber”, just a awesome time!”
Q #6: Do you have a favorite memory from being on the HairSpray Tour?
Erin’s Answer: “Oh wow. Where to start. I think maybe closing night in Japan. We took 3 company bows to a standing ovation for about 5 minutes. I was crying my eyes out. I had never felt anything like that before!”
Q #7: Will you ever go back to the Hairspray Tour?
Erin’s Answer: “Yes, I am actually rejoining the cast for the 2010 tour as Amber again.”
Q #8: What are you currently working on right now?
Erin’s Answer: “I am currently wrapping up my last two weeks with the national tour of The Wedding Singer.”
Q #9 What has been your favorite role you have done on Broadway?
Erin’s Answer: “I’ll be more than happy to answer that when I get there:)”
Q #10: What has been the most memorable place to travel to while on tour?
Erin’s Answer: “Oh wow. I mean.. I would have to say when we took the show to Toyko, Japan. Each day I couldn’t believe we were there!”
Q #11: What has been your favorite Broadway show you have seen in NYC?
Erin’s Answer: “I saw “The Who’s Tommy”, when I was 11, and it changed my life! Recently, I am a “Hair” junkie!”
Q #12: Who is one person you would love to be on Broadway with?
Erin’s Answer: “OOO. toughy. Well, I really love Laura Bell Bundy, and since I am trying to follow in her footsteps, it would be really cool to work with her.”
Q #13: Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to sing or act or act as a career or just advicein general about careers?
Erin’s Answer: “Keep going. Learn how to take rejection! Sometimes its not about your talent. You might be an inch too tall , or just not look old enough. Keep going and eventually things will fall into place!”
Q #14: What is your favorite TV show?
Erin’s Answer: “CSI. las Vegas, i’m addicted!”
Q #15: What is your favorite classic movie?
Erin’s Answer: “Singin in the Rain” and “Guys and Dolls.”
Q # 16: What is your favorite current song?
Erin’s Answer: “Anything Lady Gaga, because my bestie, Kyle, made me listen to it every morning on tour.”
Q #17: What is your favorite restaurant/food place in New York?
Erin’s Answer: “BLOCKHEADS, and a go go sushi up near Lincoln Center.”
Q #18: What is one thing you cannot live without?
Erin’s Answer: “Lip gloss.”
Q #19: If you had a soundtrack to your life what song/songs would have to be on it?
Erin’s Answer: “Well, it would be a tony award winning musical about my life called “FML: The Musical” have songs about rage, laughter, heartache, love, unemployment, working, matt nolan, being broke, and being blonde!”
Q #20: Do you have a favorite quote or saying that is always on your mind?
Erin’s Answer: “There is a light at the end of the tunnel.”
